General LED Screen Rental Questions
Start here if you are comparing mobile LED screens, Jumbotrons and other large event-display options.
What is an LED screen rental?
An LED screen rental provides a temporary large-format digital display for an event. Mobile Billboard Miami focuses on mobile outdoor LED displays that can be brought to approved venues for videos, graphics, sponsor content, presentations, watch parties, movie nights and compatible live-event content.
What is the difference between an LED screen and a projector screen?
An LED display produces its own light, while a projector throws an image onto a separate surface. For outdoor events, LED is often selected when organizers want a bright digital display that can operate before full darkness. Our outdoor movie screen rentals use mobile LED displays rather than relying only on projection.
What do you mean by “mobile Jumbotron”?
We use “mobile Jumbotron” to describe a large LED event display that travels on a mobile platform and can be positioned for crowd viewing. See our Mobile Jumbotron Rental page for event applications and statewide service information.
Do you offer double-sided LED screens?
Yes. Double-sided viewing is available with selected mobile display configurations, which can be useful when an event has audience areas on more than one side of the screen. The best placement depends on the venue layout and crowd flow.
Can the LED screen be used during the daytime?
Yes. Our outdoor LED displays are designed for daytime and nighttime event use. Actual visibility depends on placement, viewing angle, direct sun conditions and the content being shown.
Pricing + Booking
How quotes work, what affects price and what to send when you are ready to reserve a screen.
How much does an LED screen rental cost in Florida?
Pricing depends on the event date, location, operating hours, travel, venue access, display configuration, audience needs and production requirements. The fastest way to get an accurate price is to send the event date, address, schedule and expected audience size through our quote request .
Do you have a minimum rental time?
Minimums can vary by event, market, travel requirements and equipment schedule. Send the requested operating window and we will quote the most practical rental structure for the project.
Do you offer multi-day LED screen rental pricing?
Multi-day campaigns and event programs can be quoted as a package. Pricing depends on whether the equipment remains at the venue, moves between locations or operates on different schedules each day.
How early should I reserve an LED screen?
Booking earlier gives you the best chance of securing the preferred equipment and event date, especially for weekends, major sports dates, festivals and seasonal community events. Short-notice requests can still be reviewed based on availability.
What information do you need before you can quote my event?
Please send the event date, venue address, requested arrival and operating times, approximate audience size, event type, content needs and any known venue restrictions. Photos or a site map are helpful when placement is unusual.
Setup + Event Logistics
What the venue needs to consider before a mobile LED display arrives.
How long does a mobile LED screen take to set up?
Mobile displays are designed to reduce on-site assembly because the screen arrives as part of a complete mobile unit. Actual setup time depends on access, positioning, leveling, event requirements, safety checks and content preparation.
Does the LED screen need venue power?
Our mobile display systems can be configured with onboard power, reducing dependence on venue electrical infrastructure. Final power planning is confirmed for each rental based on the equipment and production scope.
How much space does the screen need at the venue?
The required operating area varies by mobile display and the orientation needed for the audience. We review vehicle access, clearance, viewing distance, pedestrian flow and the space needed to position and safely operate the unit.
Can the screen be used in a parking lot, park or school field?
Potentially, yes. The location must have suitable access, operating space and a surface that is appropriate for the mobile unit. Venue approval and site conditions are reviewed before finalizing placement.
Does someone stay with the screen during the event?
Our rentals are operated as a professional event service rather than an unattended equipment drop. Staffing and production support are matched to the event scope.
Content, Audio + Connectivity
What can go on the screen and how sound, Wi-Fi and live-event content fit into the rental.
What can we show on the LED screen?
The display can show videos, still graphics, sponsor loops, event schedules, presentations, QR codes, announcements and compatible live-event content. We confirm file and source requirements before the event.
Is audio included with the screen rental?
Professional audio is available with our mobile LED screen packages. The required sound coverage depends on audience size, venue layout and the type of event.
Do the screens have Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity?
Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity can be incorporated into the event setup. Actual performance depends on local network conditions, congestion, signal quality and the bandwidth required by the content source.
Can the LED screen show a live camera feed?
Compatible live camera feeds, IMAG-style event video and presentation sources can be supported with the appropriate production setup. Camera, switching, connectivity and signal routing should be planned with the event scope rather than assumed as a basic playback requirement.
Can we show a sports broadcast or a movie on the screen?
Technically compatible sources can be displayed, but the event organizer is responsible for obtaining any broadcast, public-performance, exhibition or commercial viewing rights required for the content. Our sports watch party and outdoor movie pages explain those use cases in more detail.
Event Types + Best Uses

Do mobile LED screens work for concerts and festivals?

Will you travel to Orlando, Tampa or Jacksonville?
Approved statewide rentals can be scheduled outside South Florida. Travel cost, date availability, event duration, venue access and logistics are reviewed as part of the quote.
What happens if it rains during an outdoor LED screen event?
Florida weather must be treated as an event-safety issue, not just a screen-visibility issue. Rain, lightning, wind and severe weather can affect setup or operation. Final operating decisions are based on conditions at the venue, equipment limitations, event requirements and safety.
Can the screen operate in high wind or severe weather?
Equipment should not be operated outside its safe conditions. High winds, lightning, tropical weather and other severe conditions may require repositioning, lowering, pausing or stopping operations. Weather contingencies should be discussed before outdoor events.
Are your LED screen rentals only for outdoor events?
Our strongest fit is mobile and outdoor event deployment. Some covered or indoor-adjacent venues may work depending on access, clearance, ventilation, operating space and the specific mobile display. We review unusual venues individually.
